What stays on your Mac

Latte runs entirely on your Mac. Your code, prompts, agent output, project names, session history, decision journal and reports never leave it. Your Telegram bot token and ntfy topic are stored on your Mac with private file permissions.

What our server knows

  • Your email address, so you can sign in with a one-time code.
  • Your Macs, as an anonymous ID (a one-way hash, never your serial number), the Mac's name and the Latte version, so your plan works on up to 3 Macs.
  • Your plan: trial dates, subscription status and renewal date.

The app checks your plan about once a day. That check sends only your sign-in token and the anonymous Mac ID.

Payments

Payments are handled by our payment provider, Dodo Payments, as merchant of record. They process your card details; we never see them. We receive your subscription status and a customer ID.

Phone messages

Alerts and approvals go from your Mac straight to Telegram or ntfy, using your own bot or topic. They don't pass through Latte's server. Those services' own privacy policies apply to what they carry.

This website

This website (not the app) uses Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to see which pages people visit and where they get stuck. They collect things like pages viewed, clicks, scrolling, browser and rough location, and may set cookies. Clarity records how pages are used, with text you type masked. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, Google Analytics runs without cookies. The Latte app itself contains no analytics.

Email

We email you sign-in codes and, rarely, important notices about your account. No marketing without your permission.

Deleting your data

Email us to delete your account. We remove your email, devices and plan. We keep a minimal record that a Mac has used its trial, and the payment records the law requires.
